Andrew has been a part of the PDI team since May 2006 and loves seeing a clients’ idea go from paper to reality. You could say he has grown up in the hospitality industry, having worked in hospitality since a teenager and coming from a family who own a number of hospitality venues. He’s always loved the industry.

Andrew studied a Bachelor of Design and ended up in commercial interiors via engineering. For some clients, he knows they’re taking a big step up into owning their own business and that PDI can play a major role in making their outlet successful. When it comes to design, Andrew is a fan of this quote by Joel Spolsky, ‘Design adds value faster than it adds cost’.

In his career, Andrew has been involved in a number of interesting projects including the Federal Precinct in Auckland, which has taken on significant growth, North Wharf for the America’s Cup and being involved with Good George, a craft beer in Hamilton, and their rise. Outside of work you’ll find Andrew working on design and build projects, being involved in a busy pub and general hospitality market research.
